His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa Visits the Institute Karmapa, France

The Karmapa’s Institute situated in the hinterland of the French Riviera was honoured to receive His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Thaye Dordje from the 25th until the 28th of July.
The teachings took place in a village 5km far from the centre, in a large tent specially decorated for the occasion.

During those days, explanations on Buddhist philosophy were given alternately by His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, Thinlay Rinpoche and Trehor Lama, before an attentive audience who shown great interest.

On Friday 25th the empowerment in Namdjoma was given in a prestigious Hotel located on the famous Cannes beachfront promenade “La Croisette”.

On Sunday 27th afternoon His Holiness has bestowed the empowerment in White Tara.
In the tent as well as in the centre the atmosphere was very warm.

On the 28th, to close his visit, His Holiness gave a teaching in Valderoure and in the evening the empowerment in Chenrezig at the Plaza Hotel in Nice, the room was full.
