Mumbai, Anniversary, Ceremony, Refuge and Bodhisattva Vow

On October 14, 1956 Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar embraced Buddhism at an historic ceremony at Diksha Bhoomi, Nagpur with his millions of followers.

The 50 year anniversary of this historical event was celebrated in Mumbai. Gyalwa Karmapa was invited to be the Chief Guest and about 60.000 people came to take refuge together.
