Letter from Gyalwa Karmapa concerning recent disasters of the MH370 flight and South Korea ferry tragedy
Letter from His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Thaye Dorje concerning recent disasters of the MH370 flight and South Korea ferry tragedy.
Such disasters may leave us feeling a sense of anger. Gyalwa Karmapa quotes the words of the Buddha, who said: “Holding on to anger is like grasping a coal with an intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned”.
“When we tap into our Inner Wealth, we are able to respond to disasters with compassion”, Gyalwa Karmapa writes in the letter.
