On the day of July 10th, His Holiness gave a public teaching in Manchester on the topic “The Way of the Buddha”. After a short general introduction to some of the key ideas of Buddhism, such as the importance of qualities such as loving kindness, compassion and patience, he decided to open the teaching for questions and answers, which proved to be just what the audience wanted: the stream of questions was continuous and covered a wide range of topics, from the workings of karma to quantum physics.
