Kagyu Monlam 2014
This year His Holiness the 17th Karmapa arrived to Bodhgaya on 18th December.
His Eminence Beru Khyentse Rinpoche, His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, Sabchu Rinpoche, Tharig Rinpoche, Nedo Rinpoche, Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche, Shangpa Rinpoche, more high lamas and thousands of devotees welcomed His Holiness in front of Karma Temple in Bodhgaya.
The next morning His Holiness Karmapa joined prayers under the Bodhi Tree, with a special program dedicated in memory and swift rebirth of Kunizg Shamar Rinpoche. At 9.30 a.m. everyone recited Calling Guru from Afar and Swift rebirth prayer composed by His Holiness the 17th Karmapa.
In between of wishing prayers His Holiness received thousands of guest and devotees in fron of Bodhi Tree as well as in Karma Temple.
In the afternoon of 20th December Gyalwa Karmapa performed Red Chenresig puja for deceased people at Karma Temple.
