Karmapa to visit Europe Center and Dhagpo Kagyu Ling this summer

Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, has confirmed that he will be visiting Europe Center during their Summer Course at the beginning of August, and Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in late September 2019.

The programme at Europe Center, Germany, will take place from 2 to 4 August 2019, and will include a welcoming ceremony for Karmapa and Thugseyla, a teaching on the 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva, and the empowerment of Avalokiteshvara (tib. Chenresig), the aspect embodying the enlightened compassion of all Buddhas.

The programme at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, Karmapa’s main seat in Europe, is scheduled between 20 and 22 September 2019, and will focus on the Refuge and Bodhisattva Vows, as well as the empowerment and practice of Avalokiteshvara.
