In march 1995 17th Karmapa official portrait was presented.  

In 1995 young Gyalwa Karmapa spend most of the time at Karmapa International Buddhist Institute, engaged into studies with Khenpo Chodrag Tenphel Rinpoche and Topga Rinpoche.
