Gyalwa Karmapa visits Ulan Ude

On June 20, the Gyalwa Karmapa was given a warm welcome at the railway station of Ulan-Ude.
After a press conference at the Baikal Plaza Hotel, Gyalwa Karmapa was received at the local Karma Kagyu Buddhist Center. Folk Music of the Buryats in traditional clothes was performed and as at centres, the people from Ulan-Ude presented their activities to Gyalwa Karmapa and his entourage.

Gyalwa Karmapa visits Moscow

The Gyalwa Karmapa, his entourage and about 100 followers arrived around midday on a chartered airplane from Kalmykia in Moscow, the capital of Russia. In the afternoon a cheerful welcoming reception was given on the rooftop of the Central Concert Hall Rossia at Moscow University. Buddhist Centres from Moscow and numerous places around Russia’s Metropole had the opportunity to present their activities to the Karmapa.
