On the 9th and 10th of July His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje visited La Colline Des Anges (Hill of Angels) at the request of Padoum, the owner of the property who had made the transition from a secluded palatial abode to a Buddhist Center at the request his late mother. Jigme Rinpoche being the spiritual director of the Hill of Angels, La Colline Des Anges has recently been going through the process of becoming affiliated with the Dhagpo mandala of which Rinpoche is a prominent figure.

On the 6th of July His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje arrived in Nice, France. That evening, His Holiness gave the Chenrezig Empowerment to a large audience in the palatial conference hall of Hotel Novotel in Cannes.

On the 24th and 25th of June 2007, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa visited the Kagyu Dharma center of Lama-Monlamgyatso in Geneva, Switzerland. The son of Lama-Ngawangtchoetrub Rinpoche and Sherabzangmo, Lama-Monlamgyatso has received a lama’s education from his early youth and has been a close disciple of many great Buddhist masters, including the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, Dudjom Rinpoche, Kalu Rinpoche and Nyoshul Khenpo Rinpoche.

His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje visited Hamburg, Germany on the 21st and 22nd of June, 2007. This would be the final stop for the joint travels of Lama Ole Nydahl and His Holiness until they meet again in August for a program in Kassel, Germany. About two thousand people turned out over the course of these two days to pay respect to His Holiness and to receive his blessings.

n the 19th of June 2007, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa visited the Copenhagen Center in Denmark with Lama Ole Nydahl. This Center has expanded over the years since the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa had advised a young Ole and Hannah Nydahl to start the center in their home town and now includes the two buildings beside the original center, giving plenty of room for housing many guests and holding large events.
