After more than two months Gyalwa Karmapa leaves his close retreat in the monastery of Dhagpo Kundreul Ling in France on August 10th.

On May 25th, Gyalwa Karmapa visited the retreat centre and monastery Dhagpo Kundreul Ling in France where Khenchen Trinley Paljor expected him already. Khenchen Trinley Paljor Rinpoche is a very experienced master who transmitted to the Gyalwa Karmapa, to Gyaltrul Rinpoche, Nendo Tenam Rinpoche und Drubsing Rinpoche the “Six Yogas of Naropa”.

Losar (Tibetan New Year) was celebrated on February 13th, this year. In Kalimpong, the location in India where Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje receives his education, Shamar Rinpoche has built a Shedra, an Institute of Buddhist studies, for monks of the Karma Kagyu Tradition.
