February 12th:

Gyalwa Karmapa visited Po Lin Monastery on Lantau island. Upon arrival, His Holiness went up at once to the Big Buddha and paid respects to the Buddha relic inside. He then went to the main shrine hall where a short prayer was chanted. This was followed by a vegetarian lunch where he was joined by Rev. Sik Chi Wai , abbot of Po Lin Monastery. Leaving the monastery, His Holiness visited a Diamond Way centre on the island.

February 13th:
Visit of Bodhipath Center

A queue 2 blocks long waited for the arrival of His Holiness at the New Horizon, Bodhipath Centre on Belcher’s Street, to present kathaks and to get blessings.
